Mode of Action

Diclosulam 84% WG is a selective Herbicide. It provides effective control of broad leaved weeds, grasses and sedges in Soybean and Groundnut.

Direction of Use

Apply Diclosulam 84% WG as pre-emergence @ 22-26 g ai/ha (26.2-30.9 g/ha) at 0-3 days after sowing. Use 500 lit of water per ha.

Time of Application

Primary Timing (Pre-emergence): The most recommended application time is within 0–3 days after sowing (DAS).

Alternative Timing (Early Post-emergence): It can be applied early post-emergence, specifically when target weeds are very small (less than the 3-leaf stage).

Soil Condition: For best results, it should be applied to moist soil to facilitate activation.

Application Details

Targeted Weed Stage: Before weed emergence or at the very early <3-leaf stage.

Dosage: Approximately 22-26 g ai/ha (26.2-30.9 g of formulation per hectare).

Method: Spray uniformly over the soil surface, preferably with a knapsack sprayer fitted with a fan nozzle.

Water Volume: Use 500-750 liters of water per hectare for proper coverage.

 

Precautions

Use good personal hygiene. Do not consume or store food in the work area, wash hands and exposed skin before eating, drinking or smoking and after work. Avoid eye contact. For most conditions, no respiratory protection should be needed. In dusty atmospheres, use an approved particulate respirator. Use chemically resistant gloves and wear clean body covering. Use chemical goggles for eye and face protection.

 

Symptoms of Poisoning

May cause slight eye irritation. Brief contact may cause moderate skin irritation with local redness. Non-specific symptoms like headache, nausea, vomiting, restlessness etc may occur.
